Job Description
Position Summary
The Bilingual Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, prospecting, networking, setting appointments and aggressively selling, on a best effort basis, prospective clients who have accounts receivable for which they seek factoring provided by Transwest Capital. In addition, the Bilingual Sales Representative is expected to demonstrate the highest level of professional sales ability to ensure accuracy and precision of the sales process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Prospect for business in conjunction with Transwest’s values and a collaborative and results-oriented environment where ethical practices and exceptional client service are paramount.
Identify, seek, and maintain a strong referral network.
Respond to prospective inquiries and proposals in a timely manner.
Prepare, present, and negotiate financing proposals for prospective clients.
Support and implement any new sales/marketing initiatives to grow company business.
Responsible for maintaining relationships with clients to ensure their retention during competitive pressures and during contract renewal period.
Responsible for maintaining referral relationships with affiliates of Transwest Capital.
This is a full-time position; work schedules are based on the needs and locations of the customers and typically range from 7:00am to 4:00pm
Occasional opportunity to travel to visit prospects, clients, or marketing events.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
What We Look For:
High school diploma in combination with appropriate and/or relevant experience.
Previous experience with trucking, logistics, or accounts receivable is a big plus but not necessary.
Must work well as a member of a team.
Must possess strong written and verbal skills.
Bilingual – Spanish/English is required.
Ability to problem solve with a solutions-minded attitude.
Temperament to handle difficult situations in a calm, respectful manner.
Must be organized, personable, analytical, capable problem-solver.
Must be courteous and professional with the ability to build/maintain interpersonal relationships.
Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management, develop solutions to unique problems.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with a high degree of accuracy.
